TRAUMA IS BOUND IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM. […] WE MUST HELP IT TO REGAIN ITS FULL RANGE AND STRENGTH. DR. PETER A. LEVINE
Building inner stability
Self-regulation as the key
After distressing experiences, many people lose the sense that they can rely on themselves. Even small challenges lead to overwhelm, withdrawal, or inner stiffness. The nervous system falls out of balance — and the body remains in a state of chronic tension.
Somatic Experiencing® strengthens the ability for self-regulation — the capacity to restore emotional and physical states to balance. Not through thinking or talking — but through body-oriented awareness, orientation, breathing, and activating inner resources.
Typical issues and concerns:
- Feeling of inner insecurity or instability
- Constant tension, overwhelm, irritability
- Difficulty staying present or making decisions
- Desire for inner calm and more self-control
What to expect:
In a safe space, you will learn to better understand your reactions and gradually integrate new experiences of safety — step by step, at your own pace.
If you want to learn how to come back to yourself and strengthen your inner stability, I would be happy to support you.
